Is this sufficient for a 1 bath, kitchen and washer in a warm climate
In a "very" warm climate, yes. In our opinion, there are only a few areas in the US where the DHCE 12 or any other similar unit will service one shower and other appliances such as a dishwasher or clothes washer at the same time and that would be South Florida (Miami or south of there) and South Texas (Corpus Christi or south of there). In reality, if you are outside of these areas you should probaly consider a larger unit. 16KW or higher depending on your incoming water temperature.
