A serious household upgrade, with 24 kW behind the display.

The Voltura TP24E is a substantial step into digital whole-house tankless heating. At 24 kW and 240V, it offers one-third more rated heating power than the TP18E, giving a two-bath project more capacity to work with. Our heater-map guidance places it in the 1.5-to-2-bath moderate-climate class or the 2-to-2.5-bath warm-climate class: a useful middle position between the entry-level digital model and the top of the range.

The front temperature display is backed by sensors that monitor water flow and temperature and modulate element power toward your selected outlet temperature. Front buttons let you select the setting, up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. A 0.5 GPM activation threshold and 3/4-inch NPT water connections give the installer concrete planning details, while the indoor wall-mounted cabinet avoids the space demands of a storage cylinder.

The TP24E requires three dedicated 240V feeds with three 40A double-pole breakers and has a maximum current of 100A. It can also take preheated inlet water as a booster. For a correctly sized household installation, it combines meaningful heating capacity, automatic control and a five-year limited original-owner warranty in a clean digital package that does not jump straight to the largest electrical load in the lineup.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • What size and weight is the TP24E itself?

The TP24E measures 18.74 x 4.53 x 14.76 inches and weighs 12.17 lb. That is not the boxed shipping weight. Allow additional space for the required mounting clearances, water connections, power feeds and practical access for future service.
  • Is the TP24E intended for outdoor installation?

No. The digital Voltura family is intended for indoor household use. The TP24E mounts upright with its water connections at the bottom and must be protected from freezing, rain, splashing and excessive moisture. Choose a location that also leaves the heater accessible for maintenance.
  • What water connection size is used on the TP24E?

The TP24E uses 3/4-inch NPT connections for its water piping. The 18 kW model has smaller 1/2-inch connections, so the digital models are not identical in this respect. Plan for correctly supported plumbing, leak checks and access for service.
  • Can the TP24E boost water that is already warm?

Yes. The TP24E accepts preheated inlet water and can act as a booster. That gives it another possible role beyond heating incoming cold water. The unit still needs its own specified electrical circuits and a correctly designed plumbing installation within its operating limits.
  • What temperature can I select on the TP24E?

The maximum selected setting is 125 F, or 52 C. The front buttons adjust the temperature and the digital display shows the setting. Water above 120 F can cause burns, so a suitable household setting and checking water before bathing remain important.
  • Can I replace a single-breaker heater with the TP24E without electrical work?

The TP24E is a three-feed heater, not a single-breaker replacement. It requires three separate 240V circuits and three 40A double-pole breakers. Whether an existing installation can accommodate it depends on the electrical system; plan that work with a qualified electrician before treating the swap as like-for-like.
  • How does the TP24E control water temperature?

Water-flow and temperature sensors help the TP24E vary the power supplied to its heating elements to maintain your selected outlet temperature. Set the temperature using the front buttons and read it on the digital display. Available power, incoming water temperature and total flow still determine the operating limits.
  • Where does the TP24E fit in the Voltura lineup?

The TP24E is the middle step in the digital whole-house range, with 24 kW at 240V. That is one-third more rated power than the TP18E. Our heater-map guidance places it in the 1.5-to-2-bath moderate-climate or 2-to-2.5-bath warm-climate sizing classes.
  • What electrical circuits does the TP24E require?

The TP24E requires three dedicated 240V circuits with three 40A double-pole breakers. Its maximum current is 100A, with three 8/2 AWG cable runs with ground and one 10 AWG ground conductor per circuit. Have a qualified electrician evaluate the electrical service and complete the installation.
  • How much flow does the TP24E need before it heats?

The minimum activation flow is 0.5 GPM. That is the threshold for starting the heater, not a rated hot-water delivery figure at every temperature. A lower incoming temperature or more simultaneously running fixtures increases the heating load and should be considered when choosing between models.
  • What routine maintenance does the TP24E need?

Clean the inlet pre-filter every six months and check for mineral buildup. The heater requires annual maintenance and descaling, with more frequent attention in unusually hard water. A serviceable installation makes upkeep easier and helps protect the heating elements.
  • What is included in the TP24E warranty?

The original authorized-reseller purchaser receives a five-year limited warranty for material, workmanship and leakage defects. The remedy is a replacement heater or affected parts. Labor and return transportation are excluded, and installation, maintenance, operating conditions and the written exclusions apply.
