It is perfect for large homes throughout North America where incoming water temperature is 40 degrees F or less. There is hardly anything that the AH-27 can't handle.

Can the AH-27 be mounted inside a cabinet or is it best to mount it outside for air flow?
The AH series can be mounted inside a cabinet or enclosure. It can also be mounted in an open area. As long as it's indoor. Air flow is not required. Cannot be mounted outside or exterior of your home. In other words heater cannot get wet or exposed to rain, snow etc. Hope this helps.

Do I need a ground wire for each breaker? Or will one do for all three?
One is enough but check with a master elec for local NEC codes.

In Wyoming during the winter the average infeed temp is 32°, with a single bath will the AH-27 achieve shower(1.5 gpm) temp of 120?

Is this the updated version of the Olympic AH-27? I am looking for schematics to repair the unit I've had for 14 years..
I'm not aware of an Olympic brand heater.
