Tankless 101: Start here!

There is at least one thing we know for a fact..  The word "tankless" is not in the dictionary! It has however, over the years, become a term that is well known in the industry.  In fact, according to several trending sources, the word "tankless" is one that actually registers on their scale of trackable search terms, which is no easy feat.  In addition, a quick search of Merriam-Webster online, provides that tankless is not a word but "water heater" most certainly is!  According to good ole' Merriam, a water heater is an -apparatus for heating and "usually" storing hot water (as for domestic use).-  Notice the quotes around the word usually? We're keeping our hopes up that someone at the.. word definition writing place, has added the term "usually" to insinuate that there are other methods that DO NOT store hot water as in "tankless" and that at some point the word will actually be added to the dictionary although we're not holding our breath. I suppose "storeless" would also work.. :)

Sooooo.... Let's get started:

Section 1: What is a tankless water heater?

Section 2: Why should I care?

Section 3: When should I consider using one?

Section 4: How do I know which one is best for my home?
